Happy Valentines!!

 

We love Valentines!

Yesterday Luke and I went on our Valentines date night. Dinner and then the cinema, it was such a good night. Maybe it was soo good because we have not been out just the two of us for ages or maybe it was the great company (well, it is Valentines!) We watched The kings Speech, which is brilliant and yes I know I am a bit behind and am sure one of the last people to watch it but if you haven’t you must, you will love it too.





We have decorated the house a little bit this year, using Martha Stewarts wax paper hearts, they look really pretty when the sun shines in the windows.

I saw this great idea for a Valentines tree but ran out of time this year, we will have to make one next year.

The boys have made Luke cards this year, with a little help from me, some cool heart sunglasses and this awesome Photo booth app. We have made many different photo booth style strips and turned them into a big collage card, with lots of glitter and tiny hearts. This app is now my new favourite thing, I am thinking of printing photo strips on to card and using them as invitations to parties this year.

On Valentines day Luke will be going to work early so we will be exchanging cards and gifts in the evening together plus I am going to cook him a special dinner, with his favourite chocolate cherry brownies for dessert.
