The sunshine returned! and I got to spend the day in my favourite place to visit in Cornwall, St Ives. I love wandering around all the little winding streets and browsing all of the galleries, cute little shops and of course stopping for a yummy cream tea overlooking the sea. I didn’t manage to buy any paintings as I have way too expensive taste but I did buy a big, rustic looking pottery dish which I am going to use as a nature bowl to show all Harry's autumn collections. Plus Luke brought me this really cute ceramic bird made by Hannah Turner. It was a perfect day, thanks to Luke who patiently stood outside most of the galleries with pushchair and the two boys, and thanks to my two boys for both napping in the pushchair and giving us a little break.
This is St Ives, isn’t it beautiful? I have not edited this picture in anyway the sky really is that blue.
The rest of the week we have spent playing on the beach and visiting the beautiful gardens of Trebah . Which has some enormous plants, the kind you could image dinosaurs walking through and when you walk to the end of the gardens you come out into a little cove, with a pebbly beach.
We spent a couple of hours having a picnic, collecting interesting shells and skimming stones across the flat sea, I love that my Dad still holds the skimming record.
It really has been an awesome holiday and I will miss seeing these guys everyday x
