After one peaceful hour of driving and then 4 not so peaceful ones, we arrived at our holiday destination of Padstow, Cornwall.
My parents, brothers, brothers girlfriend Rachael, my family and Eddie the dog all chilling out in our new home for the week.
The weather on our first day was fantastic and we spent the whole day on the beach. The boys played at the edge of the sea, building sand castles and playing with the teapot Harry brought with him. Luke and two of my brothers braved the freezing sea and went for a swim, I watched. It was a perfect way to start off our family holiday.
what a difference a day makes, the weather has taken a turn and it has been raining, lots. But being true brits we still got out and made the most of the beautiful cornish coastline.
The plans for the rest of the week, include lots of ice-cream, a few cream teas, a trip the St Ives, lots of walks and a date night for just Luke and I. But before all that, tonight it was Luke and my night to cook for everyone so I better get on with that.
