One of my favourite things about living where we do is that in the summer, pretty much every weekend, there is some kind of fate, farmers market, open gardens, teddy bears picnic or craft fare to go to. This weekend was the turn of one of my most favourite afternoon events, a fate held in the beautiful grounds of a working Franciscan Friary.
There was music, a coconut shy, tea and cakes, all kinds of bric a brac for sale, a bouncy castle, a tombola and plenty of ice-cream.
Harry being entertained by one of the Monks. Luke helping Harry win a coconut.

You and your family do the most fun stuff! Do you know I've never given my boys ice cream on a cone?!?! I'm so doing that this weekend! : )
ReplyDeleteFabulous fun! I have wonderful memories of going to lovely events like this with my folks as a youngster. Good 'ole traditional English summer fun at its best.
