I think this week could be called pancake week.
Harry has been asking for pancakes for breakfast every day (again), not that I mind as I love pancakes too. We have been experimenting with adding fruit to the batter, we normally add grated pear but have also tried blueberries and raspberries. All our breakfast have been delicious, we cant get enough of them!
This week for Ollie has been all about getting about.
He is now really on the move, not that he is crawling, it is more of a bum shuffle, roll and pull himself but he can get about. So far I have found him:
Down the side of the sofa ripping up magazines
Hiding/stuck in the curtains
Trying to get his head out of the slighty open patio doors
Playing with a pile of dirty clothes
It is really sweet the way he is sooo proud of himself when he gets across the room to what he wants.
Happy Weekend x

mmmm, the pancakes look scrummy...will be giving the blueberry ones a go!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see you guys over Easter (especially little Ollie's bum shuffle!)x
A mobile baby is life changing for everyone - so exciting yet frustrating for them and equally astonishing yet terrifying for the rest of the household.
ReplyDeleteThose pancakes look SO yummy! I'm on a diet over here and you're killing me. : )
ReplyDeleteYay!! Well done Oli! Martina xxx
ReplyDeleteOoh I love pancakes, and so does my toddler. I asked her the other day what her favourite cake was and she said 'pancakes Mummy'. Good luck now he's on the move!
ReplyDeleteever tried as sweet pancake but we do something similar with savoury ones (replaced the flour by spelt flour for the real Breton taste and mix in the batter... well anything you want really (cheese, bacon, peppers, onions....). The kids love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments and the recipe idea, I will try that.
ReplyDeleteHi Martina, really nice of your to pop by x
