Hello little blog, wow it has been a long time.
Wanted to up-date my blog but to honest it has been soo long I am not sure where to start.
Easter? that was great,
Our family holiday? even better,
The Royal wedding party? lots of fun.
There is just too much good stuff to write about. Instead I will just give a little update on the boys, more for me so that it is written down somewhere and I can remember in years to come.
The boys are as gorgeous as ever and are really growing up fast. Harry constantly tells me he is a big boy and needs to eat lots of food and banana’s so he can grow bigger. Ollie is shooting up and really leaving babyhood at an alarming rate, but he still does have the cutest chubby hands and feet.
Harry is developing an amazing imagination, playing little made up games in the garden, talking to his cars or on the play mobile phone. I think his favourite game at the moment is pretending to be a dog (I think we will have to get him a pet soon!) when he is being a dog we have to call him Charlie. He tries to get Ollie to pretend to be dogs with him, but Ollie is not very good at being a dog yet and needs more practice.
Harry is questioning everything and wants to know everything, as you can guess this is both good and bad. Last night he would not stop talking when Luke was reading the bed time story showing us all the animals in the book asking questions about where they live etc. Then he said to us ‘do you know crocodiles lay eggs and their babies hatch out of them, like birds do’. Little things like that really fascinate him.

As I said Ollie is growing up so fast, I think that is to do with having an older brother to copy. He loves to follow Harry about and copy him and most of the time they play really well together. In fact I have often seen Ollie let his big brother have something they are fighting over with a little ‘here you go Harry’ and a smile. There is some definite hero worshipping going on. Ollie constantly surprises me with how much he knows and how quickly he learns new things he already knows all the numbers from 1 to 10 but gets them a bit mixed up, but knows 10 is the last number so always finishes on 10 and looks very pleased with himself. Ollie has always been our feisty son and although he is gentle and sweet 90% of the time he does have a temper and is prone to strongly react to something he doesn’t like/he wants. Getting into the car seat is normally the cause of the ‘melt downs’ in his life, he just hates being strapped in.Then he does give the best hugs, really squeezing you and lots of kisses. Ollie still likes to be held a lot especially when I am cooking, so he can see what is going on and often telling me what to do next.

I love both of them to bits and wouldn’t have them any other way.
